  • Are you CSers in the South okay?

Hopefully the strong storms and tornadoes will pass you all by.

Ask us when it gets cold again, it's stormy here all summer.

FYI I am terrified of wind. I am clearly living in the wrong place.

Corpus Christi on the Gulf Coast got some wicked winds last night that was related to the storms. Don't ask me how, I haven't even turned on the telly today.

Sun-Up and it was clear as ice.

It rained a bit around noon today, had to close the windows really quick for a few minutes before it let up. It's supposed to storm tonight but not really worried about it, though -- hurricane season doesn't start offically until next month and hopefully my state will continue to be on the 'no more then a Cat 1 hurricane' list for a while longer.
Eh, one day I'll have something useful here. Until then, have a cookie or two.

It's been raining most of the day, some thunder here and there, and it never did get lighter out than about halfway between dawn and sunrise would be on a clear day, but that's about it.

We're getting a little rain right now . . . but we're expecting thunderstorms after midnight and going into tomorrow morning (80% chance both tonight and tomorrow) with strong wind gusts tossed in for good measure.

And our local weather forecasters are watching very closely due to the fact that we had two tornadoes hit our area 3 weeks ago (one in Davidson County and the other in High Point) and another one spotted not far from where I work (seen around Hwy 150 in the northern part of Greensboro.)

We're having some rather strange weather this month for sure.

In a coincidence, I happen to be in Savannah right now and just before the sun went down, we had the most georgeous streaks of bright sunlight.

Looks like it's calling for rain and scattered thunderstorms all night. I hope I don't have to drive home in that crap tomorrow.

Last week, here in the desert, we got a solid week of rain. I wonder if it's related to ya'lls weather woes?

Way up nort' here, it actually rained all day. Maybe enough to get us off the burn ban.

But it's supposed to be very windy tomorrow.

It was hot and sunny all day here - summer has started in south Florida.

I just shot an email to a friend of mine in northern Alabama to check up on him.

It rained here, and is raining now as I type this, but thankfully the weather stayed nice for the majority of the president's vacation here this weekend.
