On Tuesday, Bella will be bringing home two cats from a no kill shelter in Neenah.
One is a 13/14 year old male and the other is a 6/7 year old female.
The male's name is Morris. He is *such* a sweetheart!!! He leans into your hand while you pet him and LOVES drinking from the faucet. He's a shorthair bright orange tabby with black on his nose and a few black whiskers.
The girl's name is Ruby. She also a sweetheart, but Bella was petting her while I was making friends with Morris. She's referred to as a dilute tortie, but we think she's more of a calico. She also is a longhaired kitty.
People would make friends with Morris, go tell the fine people running the shelter that they were interested in him, but once they were told his age, they backed off.
(Odd, considering every room has a board with the names, ages, neuter status, etc., written on it...)
Bella just HAD to have him. When she found out that Ruby came from the same household (their previous owner died), she asked if she could be considered to adopt her, too.
About half an hour after we left, Bella got the call. On Tuesday she's bringing them home.

Now, about the names.
We saw his name was Morris (no-brainer considering his coloring) and I said we should call him Chuck Norris (family joke and such like), so he's going to be Chuck Morris.
I told Bella a couple weeks ago that when/if she got a new cat, it's name would be Jaha, after her all-time favorite baseball player. Soooooooo....
I'm weird, I know, and I dragged Bella into it, but she's being very good natured about it.
Pictures will follow...eventually...
