My Son Is Getting Married

My son Michael took his girlfriend out to dinner. After dinner they went to the beach. It was there that he pulled out a ring, got down on one knee and made his proposal.

And her answer? YESSSSSSS!!!!

They plan to get married at the courthouse before he goes to Afghanastan in Nov. Then when he gets back they will have a formal wedding.

I'm so excited about this. Sometimes I still can't believe it.

My cousin is a Marine and he was being transferred from Florida to Maine or somewhere, so they got married in Florida before his transfer so the military would move her with him. They had the formal church wedding in Maine.
