Hell, I would do that on purpose. What're ya gonna do? Throw a cheesesteak at me?

I would not, however, wear anything black and gold here....or purple for that matter. And I do not wear my KU shirt on the way home, since I have to drive through Columbia. That drive is a primary reason why my car is not decked with a bumper sticker of some kind. There's pride and then there's stupidity.

Hehe when my family was on vacation last year...we all wore our Pittsburgh stuff at various Cape May (NJ) locations. Why? To drive all the Philly fans nuts

My Dad's an Eagles fan in Washington Redskins territory!

I'm torn between the Mets & the Nats.

My hubs likes the Redskins & Nats. FTR, we're still together.

Otherwise, sports & teams aren't that much imporant to us.

I used to take trips to Pittsburgh with Ravens hat and all. Yeah...you know they're not total failures.... I still love them, for some strange reason...

My fiance and I took the LONG way from Dallas to Houston and ended up driving through College Station the day after the annual UT-A&M football game, in a car with Texas Exs plates.

I'm right in the middle of red sox and the Yankees territory. My favorite thing to do is wear a Yankee's cap into my mom's office filled with Red sox fans. I consider it a sport. I'm not a big baseball fan but I enjoy bugging people.

I thought I had it rough as a Yankees fan outside of Philly. I feel like every trip to the bar is a potential fight in the making.

My ex and I were ardent fans of team A, and my best friend and her husband were ardent fans of team B. There is a huge rivalry between these two football teams, culminating in a big game each year. For our area, this is major stuff. More people pay attention to that game than the championship games 'round here. After the game one night, us two couple went out... Us all decked in team A stuff, them in team B. Boy did we get some funny looks!

(Hahahaha... We usually beat them... Plus a lot of their players are from OUR area.... Makes for major ribbing. Even if they do manage to win, we just say it 'cause we provided 'em with the talent)

Sports rivalries were on the radio this morning. All the Canadiens fans are coming out of the closet (their words, not mine), now that the entire country is supporting them.

My father-in-law apparently always supported them. His father made a lot of money betting on them. As an immigrant he didn't feel required to support the local team, and was more than willing to take bets from people who would never bet against the Leafs.

Last year I was the only Raiders fan in a bar filled with Eagles fans when the two teams played. Miraculously, my lowly Raiders managed to defeat the playoff-bound Eagles. I was the happiest guy in the bar, naturally. And no, I wasn't in stealth mode...I had my Jack Tatum jersey and my Raiders hat going, and was being very vocal (though not rude) about supporting my team.

Surprisingly, I not only did I not get my ass kicked, several of the Eagles fans bought me beer. To quote: "You've got some serious cojones, man!"
