Huh.. I thought paper was the first year anniversary.

Well... Happy Anniversary, and many more.
Make a list of important things to do today.
At the top of your list, put 'eat chocolate'
Now, you'll get at least one thing done today

Its you're 1st annv - you're not allowed to use the "I have a headache" line...

but since you have a busted ankle - maybe you need to make sure things have more stability next time?

        Congratulations!!

Hubby and I celebrated our 1st anniversay back in January. For the "paper" gift we each gave the other copies of our favourite books. We didnt plan it, it just happened. No doubt more proof of how compatable we are

D and My 1 year is the 9th of June. We are planning a trip to Steamboat Springs for a few days. I haven't figured out what to get her, but I'm thinking of a Sabbat Guide...

Yeah... this thread reminded me that I was supposed to get a gift for Jackdaw. (We have over a week to go, but I'm at a conference for most of that). I confessed this to him, and asked if we were going to stick to the "paper" theme. He didn't really know, hadn't really thought of getting me a gift. Upshot? We're not exchanging gifts. AND we have the option of randomly spending money from the gift budget to get each other something in the future if we want to.

Thanks guys! I didn't let a sprained ankle ruin our day...

I got the hubby Rockies tickets and I got a Bath & Body Works gift card...perfect match! his bday is the 24th and I'm trying to come up with something for that now.
