Hey, remember when I said that I was going to write a book? Well, I think I might just have a better idea than the one I came up with originally.
Here's the Cliff's Notes version: A guy and his wife go to their bank on the Friday before Memorial Day. The guy goes to use the bathroom. There is no one else in said bathroom. Just as he sits down to use the toilet, a group of bank robbers storm in, take everyone hostage, and begin breaking into the vault. The guy then becomes trapped in the bathroom and has to figure out how to stay hidden, save himself and the hostages, and stop the bank robbery.
The main characters:
Vincent Geier--The main protagonist, the man in the bathroom
Lisa Geier--Vince's wife, and one of the hostages
William Sanders--Lieutenant in the Milwaukee Police Department, Vince's friend
Ray Greer--The leader of the bank robbers, refers to his cohorts by their initials throughout the book
Kyle Orton (aka K.O.)--Ray's right-hand man in the robbery
Terry Franklin--A reporter at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, serves as Vince's outside contact through phone calls and text messages
The book's working title is "Hideout." I know it sounds like a ripoff of Die Hard, but it really isn't. If it's ever released, expect tension.
