I'm mostly at peace with her now that my dad put my air conditioner back in.
I guess I can't be pleased, but she's still a bitch. Three Fridays ago, it was in the lower 30s and snowing/sleeting, ever since yesterday it's been in the upper 80s and will be in the low 90s today and tomorrow. No storms in store for today, maybe (and that's a big maybe) for tomorrow and Wednesday, although I know from living my entire life here that when it gets this hot and this wet and sticky, it HAS to storm. Really, we start May in March mode, then we hop all the way to July?
I still have a bone to pick with her because we haven't had a decent scary storm since summer 2008 around here.
I have to get a new car soon, no more dillydallying. It barely survived the way home today, and it was only 75 degrees at 7 am. That shouldn't be hot enough to make a car sputter like crazy. So I will be really limiting my errands this week.
Mine's a lemon through and through, but it usually runs great in normal or even chilly weather. But once it gets hot.....we are in trouble.
It started sputtering like mad this morning on my way home at a stop light. This was a little after 8 am and it was 78 degrees. I was stupid and went to the gym anyway, by the time I left there it was almost 10 and well into the 80s, but I didn't chance going anywhere else.
Looks like the next couple of days it's necessity driving only if the car is going to sputter like that.
Mine just has seizures. So it's 1:35 am, I have the air conditioner on full-blast with a fan in conjunction, and I can't sleep. Why did I wish for summer?
"Is it hot in here to you? It's very warm, isn't it?"--Nero, probably
