it was boring...and i couldnt see anything from where i was sitting. BUT they did pronounce my name right. for once. (last name that is. if they messed up sara, id walk back across stage and slap them)

    a few things....

at the beginning there was silence as they got ready to sing the national anthem
    what happens?
some douche starts to yell out a graduates name. then another, and another and another. omg youre soooo cool. stfu.

seriously its annoying and rude on many levels.

during the speeches people started clapping in hopes to get the speaker to move faster. very nice.

the whole thing was about 2 and a half hours, so it wasnt too bad since my friend says his was 4 hours a few years ago

    family

so a few weeks ago we mailed out the invitations to the party (which was today) almost everyone rsvp'd.

my grandmother didnt. so when she didnt by the specified date, my dad called her (his mother) she didnt return his call. the other day my mom was at work and she saw my grandmother, but she seemed to be pre-occupied so my mom didnt want to bring it up.

she didnt go to the graduation, and she never came to the party. apparently she "has her reasons why" but no one knows what they are.

WTF? i never did anything to her...and dont know anyone who has done anything to her to deserve this.

i mean, its not like my feelings are shattered and its not gonna make me lose sleep or make me cry but..im her oldest grandchild, and only the 2nd person on that side of the family with a college diploma (last one was over 20 years ago) so wouldnt this be like a big deal for her? and shes my only grandmother, and my grandfather from my moms side is really old and hasnt been well lately so he couldnt come.

though i can bet you $100 that when my cousin graduates next, she'll go to that. even though its all the way up in NH.

the other part of my family uh "rant" is this..

my aunt didnt rsvp either. but that...i dont care if she came or not. shes kinda loud and annoying, and her kids are almost as bad. it wasnt until this morning did she finally call and say she wasnt going. but what bothers me more is my mom wont shut up about it. im not saying she doesnt have a right to complain, but she does it every.single.day. and also shes been complaining about my grandma. again she has the right, but i dont wanna hear about it everyday.

idk...she sometimes just stresses ME out with HER stress.

i just needed to get that out

You know it, but... and .

Getting a degree isn't easy, but you did it! Wahoo!
Make a list of important things to do today.
At the top of your list, put 'eat chocolate'
Now, you'll get at least one thing done today
