    wish me luck

    been job hunting, lost count of how many apps i sent out even.
    got one calling me back today

    i forgot what the job said it would be on the advert
    i just applied anyway

    turns out it's a mixture of computer maintenance and hardware troubleshooting which i've done both of.

    wish me luck.

    there's about 15 apps but only 3 or 4 of us have actually been called in for interviews.

                welll... some bad news for that job.

                it was suppose to be computers / jack of all trades at the local TV station but they hired someone else with more experience.

                But then my luck changed again. I barely remember applying to them, but I know I did... I applied to a local temp agency.

                So far they've actually been a help. I've had 3 interview appointments, but... the third I'm going to see if I can get out of cos it's like 30 miles away.

                and because...

                at the interview I had today - for a test equipment calibration job - the man hiring said that "anyone who walks through that door with pmel experience is hired" (pmel is the ari force equivalent of what i use to do in the navy, before i went into computers).

                so yeah...

                At the end of the interview the man I spoke with said, "Show up for work on Monday at 0900".



                *SQUEEEE*

                and, it's like omg freakin close to where I live. Seriously, it's like maybe 10 minutes away.... actually google maps says 9 minutes. That'll be nice on my gas tank!


                the only killer part is going to be that work starts at 0700 normally. oy i'll have to learn how to get up early again hah. luckily it's hours ive done before - pretty much the same that i had in the navy at least
