My mom is gone

After five years of hell following a diagnosis of Alzheimer's, my mom left us last night. This makes four deaths in the past two years.

Gah. I cannot image that. I know my own mom will die one day, but I don't want to deal with that. I doubt there are many out there that would be unaffected by their mom's passing.


Yeah, I'm pretty sure your tired of hearing that I'm sorry, since it sounds so hollow, or that it's God's plan and/or wanted her, and your thinking What was wrong with me wanting her? Or any other various things people say when someone dies that is close to you. But they're just trying to help, just unsure how, and they do feel for you.
