The inspections seem to be more focused on housekeeping!

I forgot to mention in my previous explanation that, for ours at least, only the singles apartment I was in had housekeeping inspections with a specific checklist done every month. Our current housing, for grad families and actually owned by the university, checks three times a year, and mostly to check for any problems with the unit itself and to make sure the place isn't a total dump. The people inspecting might turn their noses up at some child-created clutter on the floor or a sink full of dirty dishes, but won't actually say anything.
