    *le sigh* Compy problems ... again

    I'm going to be online sporadically for the next few weeks. Last night, my laptop decided to "learn" a new trick. I had to power it off, and when I turned it back on, it goes through the motions of running up, but once it needs to hit the log-in screen (we have my name & Mr. Rum's name as 2 different users), the computer just sits and sits and sits there. So we're going to take it to Office Depot (where we bought it from ) and see what they can do to help us with it.

    I'm on my desktop right now ... it's not much fun and ancient, but it's at least something?

    So yeah ... I'll be around, just not as much.

    Make a list of important things to do today.
    At the top of your list, put 'eat chocolate'
    Now, you'll get at least one thing done today

      Took said laptop to Office Depot. The operating system wouldn't come up. It was cheaper to get it fixed than to buy a brand new laptop, so now I have to wait to see what happens with it. I hope at least we can get the stuff off the hard drive.

      The guy I talked to at the Office Depot said it was something that happened/is a known problem with Windows Vista. *le sigh*

      At least the desk top is still operational. *knocks on wood*
