The Boy's ex is an idiot. she's a flaming moron. she's a 23 year old with the mental capacity of a 17 year old. oh, how i hate her. at first i felt kinda sorta sorry for her...but now? not so much.
they got married the fall after highschool. they'd been dating on and off for 6 years or whatever. we had a thing during one of their "off" times. after they got married, he was stationed in virginia beach. during his first deployment, she had their daughter. second deployment, she moved back to idaho to be with family and friends. she ended up cheating on him with a 16 year old. end of that deployment, he started messaging me and we rekindled our "thing." they ended up getting a divorce and we moved to va beach.
during this time, she got engaged to some dude she had just met. then she got arrested for online enticement of a minor, some 16 year old in canada. turns out they met up in seattle for some nookie. and she brought her daughter with her. her fiance dumped her and she moved into The Boy's mom's house because Mum was worried about their daughter. didn't want her living on the streets.
then she got engaged to and married The Boy's (male) cousin's lover. he's 19. they moved into his mom's house who, according to various sources, is a huge meth addict.
her court date is in september and hopefully she'll go to jail, but until the, she has custody of their daughter. because The Boy is in iraq, he signed his visitation rights over to his mom. it's perfectly legal and his lawyer found an idaho law and a supreme court case of pretty much the exact same thing so we know it's totally legit. the ex was made aware of this last week.
she fought it a bit, but then today, she texted The Boy's mom around noon saying to come pick up the kid.
aaaand when she got there, the ex started freaking out that that none of this was legal and she needs an official court order. so The Boy's mom called the sheriff and he said that he wasn't going to do anything and she was trespassing and should leave before he had to arrest her.

i really hate her. i used to keep mum about all of this because i wanted to respect her privacy but she's gone to far. to say "hey yeah come get her" then freak out at her...it just defies logic. i really don't understand her motives and what goes through her head half the time.
