Crazy Cat Person needs advice from other Crazy Cat Persons.

125$ cat tree < a box, naturally.

Our two furry ratbags are the same. In the case of the eldest one, he actually chewed one of the cardboard filing boxes we have. She'd left it out for him so he jumped in and this is what happened:

*dig teeth in* *pull piece off* *realise it doesn't taste good* *spit it on the floor *repeat*

He did that until the only pieces left of the box were the corners.

The more $$ you spend on kittehs, the less they like the item. Boxes are free and make kittehs happy


Though I do want to get my furry jerks a cat tree....right now they just have a small post they sit on.

My dad made a "cat playground" for our two. It consists of a scratching post set that dad bought ages ago (one of them has a perch area), a little "hideaway" for them (made out of some old drawers) and a ramp for them to scratch around on.

They both love it.

I'm still wondering where the "Crazy" comes into play. Yea an entire wall dedicated to cat trees may be a bit excessive, but I'd do it to, and I don't consider myself crazy.

Two cats does not a crazy cat person make. 12, maybe, but not two.

Also, if people want me to I'm more than happy to post up pictures of the cat playground my dad built for them. (two chest of drawers lying around the house, plus a $20 scratching post from the local discount store and some old carpet)
