  • strange thought...

I just finished celebrating my mother's 62 birthday today...and got to thinking about something on the long drive home....

the number 3 is disturbingly prevelent in our family.
    • my brother and sister are 3 days and 3 years apart (in age).
    • My dad and mom are 3 days 3 month and 3 years apart (in age).
    • I personally am the youngest of 3 children.
    • I turned 21 (2+1=3) on 3/3/03
    • there are 303 days remaining in the year from my birthday 3/3.
    • I've lived in 3 different states.
    • I was born on the 3rd day of the week (wednesday)...took a bit of digging, but march 3 was on a wednesday in 1982

Anyone else think I'm nuts? or is this just to strange?

Well, if ya really wanna go a little crazed, your mom turning 62. 6 divided by 2 is 3.

Also: She turned 62 today, which is 6/25/10

        6 Minus the five from 25 = 1.

        1 + 2 from 25 = 3.

        3 divided by 1 from 10 = 3.

        3 + 0 = 3.

        Scary.

You wouldn't be the only one Sarlon.

Mine is the numbers 5 and 6.

          My birthday is 5/15
          Hubby's is 5/16
          Child is 6/16
          Anniversary 2/3 (= 5)

Hubby has the same first and middle name AND birthdate as one of my favorite uncles. Both hubby and I were hired at our respective jobs on the same date, so we also share the same work anniversary.

Actually, now that I think about it... that's pretty spooky.

My friend Cat and I joke about how we are "haunted" by the number 3, but the fact is, we both like it. Every custom sports jersey I get, I make sure I have the number 33 on it. But Cat is especially creeped out by my current living situation.

My phone number has two 3's in it. Not that creepy, but it DOES end in 666.
My zip code has two 3's in it.
            My street address is 3333.

The funniest example I remember of "haunted by 3" was years ago, when I worked for the Red and White Striped Restaurant in Phoenix, I was doing my end of shift checkout with my manager. The amount I owed the house? $333.33. The date? 3/3. Even my manager was a bit weirded out by THAT one!

I have nothing number related, but...

My father and my mother's youngest brother were not only born a day apart, but both of my grandmothers shared a room in the hospital at the time.

I was born on All Saint's Day. My sister was born on New Year's Eve. Yay, holidays!

Apparently my mother's father died on my grandparents wedding anniversary.

Um... actually, I think that's it.
