  • I might start fostering a bunny!

I found a white with black bunny in my neighborhood when I was walking Friday night, and got in touch with the House Rabbit Society (Bunny looked pretty bad, I'll post some pics later) and took her to the shelter today.

The shelter is too full to keep her, so Mom OKed fostering. I'll take her home Tuesday, maybe.

Poor lil lost bunny! I'm glad you cared enough to do something.

          Bunnybunnybunny!!

I want to get one, but I'm leaving for three weeks vacation soon and doubt there's anyone here who boards them.

          Post pics!

As has been commanded, I give bunny pics. She was in pretty bad shape, looks like she sat in urine/feces for a while before someone dumped her, but she's getting care now. Pics were taken Friday evening, before I could tell the rescue group.

The whole "suddenly being gone for a week at a time" thing is fairly normal for me. I would need to find another bunny owner in my area willing to swap bunnysitting duties before I could. (I am asking around, though!)

Also, that is an adorrrrrable bunny! I hope she starts improving quickly with your care.

I have a black bunny with white paws and white little nose, she's small, still a baby and her name is fluffy, she's such a sweetie.

Awww the poor little thing, looks like a total sweetie. I'm glad your mom okay-ed fostering her so she can get some badly needed love.

Bun is moved in, and exploring her new space. I need a name for her (the bunny shelter named her after me) and I'm trying to decide between Mavis and Trina.

She looks more like a Trina to me, not really sure why.

Bunny is settled in, and I have pics on my Facebook. I can't upload them right now.
