Anybody want to play a game, online? Not through Dawn of War or anything but through Vassal and a Warhammer 40,000 Module for it (5.2b to be exact, which, if you're wanting to play, i can send you so we've all got the same module)
Sadly, the 40K module does not have Space Wolves, Newest Tyranids or Blood Angels.
Anyone can come play, if you're interested, even if you'v enever played before (I'll host learner classes for anyone that wants to try)
Few basic rules
Have your codex handy at the least, cause then that way you'll be able to look up your skill values and weapon values without having to ask me all the time (Begginers are exempt from this)
Please be honest with your points values, afterall, the playing counts not the winning (although i trust CSers to be honest with their points values)
Everything is done inprogram, from mission and deployment rolling, to setting up rolling and hits/wounds/saves etc etc.
Keep to the 40K rules, if you know them (or have a rulebook handy) if not, don't be afraid to ask.
Everybody is expected to: Make Dakka and vehicle noises whenever they move/shoot, The fact that I cant hear you make them is all the more reason to do them.
Begginer lessons:
These games will comprise of two fixed armies of Orks and Space Marines. You will be free to choose which of the two sides.
