Some of us from work had a BBQ last night, and I didn't leave until 3 am and didn't get to bed until 5 (damn night shift tendencies of me) and I'd been up since 8 am anyway for car shopping, so today I slept in until 12. It had been raining since I went to bed this morning.

I was playing around on here and FB and my brother said he'd come help me clean out my Neon and we'd clean out his car, then we got some food and watched some TV and chilled out.

I'm just too tired, and it didn't quit raining until about 4 or 5 tonight, so everything is still wet and I don't want to sit on wet grass or park a chair on soppy wet ground and be out in wet air.

I need to catch up on some sleep anyway, it'll be back to Hell tomorrow night and all of the problems that have been going on are just going to continue. I should take up this once in a longtime chance to catch up on much needed hours of sleep that I've lost lately. Bf isn't around, so I'm free to do it.

And I get to wake up at the buttcrack of dawn and go to the gym and then meet up with my folks and take the final drive with my beloved piece of crap car and go pick up my new one

I would've loved to join my family in going to northern Arizona for the weekend, but I couldn't afford to take Saturday off from the library, and I've got a geriatric cat who can't be left alone.......so I've been splitting my time between my apartment and my mom's house. (she's got two kittens who are still kind of young to be on their own for a few days)

From the texts you sent me, you had a far more interesting holiday than this post would have led people to believe!

Me, I had an amusing day drinking, hanging out with a couple of really cool newlyweds I met on the pub crawl, hitting vainly on girls with boyfriends (two that I can think of), etc., etc., etc. You know, the usual shit. (Amusingly, the newlywed couple were convinced the second girl was into me, as was I....until we discovered that she had come to Key West with her boyfriend of four years.)

So after the movies, I got a huge headache, but went to the video store with Munchkin and got some movies and even got some Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. Those are always fun! Ended up falling asleep in the middle of The Neverending Story.

My fourth was pretty awesome for how simple it was.
