  • Owie!! (cat is outta shaoe)

So, I figured 3 weeks is far more time to be resting after the big hike than I needed, so this week I am back working out!

Tuesday: weights (10 lbs, biceps and triceps) and the gym. Oh! and a failed attempt at jogging...I can only jog for about a minute before I need to walk again

Wednesday: another attempt at morning jog, lunchwalk, than soccer (I so jumped on the bandwagen)

Today: no jog, in pain fron soccer (fell and twisted the bad knee) but I will lunchwalk and gym and do more weights

This weekend: soccer on the beach in RI!! (gotta burn off drink calories somehow)

And I though hiking was hard!!!

    Take it more slowly!

It's far better to do less exercise, but keep it up for life, than to do a burst of exercise then stop.
    Seshat's self-help guide:
    1. Would you rather be right, or get the result you want?
    2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
    3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
    4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.

Oh man, so many typos I gotta stop posting at work (where I have to type quickly lest I get caught)

Ha, I am not over doing it...I just took the break after the big hike because it was far to hot (for me) to hike. I usually only do a short lunch walk and about 1hr at the gym

Have you tried the Couch-to-5K? Its a great running program that a lot of people have had success with.
