I might finally have a job!!!

So for the last year i have been unemployed because after my car accident my boss wouldn't accept my doctors note and effectively fired me.

I spen the summer looking but had another accident then was dealing with school and diabetes so for a year ive had no luck.

This summer ive applied to be a bus driver.

I just got a voice mail asking me what hub i would like to work from! I might have a job! its only for 9 1/2 monthes but i can be rehired each year and its 9 monthes of work.

Congrats! I hope it works out well. What are your plans for your summers off if you take this?

i would either take advantage of summer school or look for a small like jack in the box job for the summer the great thing is this jobs is a minimum of 20 hours of a week most likely 25 at 12 dollars an hour. I would work mornings and afternoons and have nights free, and even if i dont work a full 4 hours a day i will be paid for a minimum of 4 hours a day.

once i have this job and i know i will have work for the next 9 months ill sign up for night classes to finish my second associates. once i have classes and work figured out i would look for another even more part time job that i could work say 4-5 days a weeks for a few hours a day or at least weekends to work for the next year or two at part time. the problem with those jobs now is the places needed here are only needing part time really part jobs and i need something where i can work at least 20 hours a week. I might get a second job at subway across the street because i know i could get only two days a week there. the reason i havent tried to get a job at the subway is the fact i know the only need someone to work about 10-15 hours max a week, and i see that and think 'wtf just give my sister (who works there) those hours cause with them she is still under 30 a week and she has the most seniority of all your works not your managers'
