Currently here in Paradise it's 83F (heat index 91F), with humidity of 78% and a slight breeze.

Which is a marked change from last year's Fourth of July weekend, which was the hottest most humid weekend of the year. Of course, I didn't mind so much because A. I like the heat and B. I was getting laid constantly that weekend.

It was absolutely sweltering in my neck of the woods Friday and Saturday, as it was a couple of weekends ago as well. I guess I better stop bitching, since last summer we didn't even get hot weather.

I was too spoiled, test driving all these cars with A/C in them and riding with my dad, then I got home and into the Neon and was absolutely dying on the short trip to the gym and around town to run errands, and it was still stifling hot at 7 when I went to the store to get stuff for our BBQ.....but around 1 am it started getting breezy.

On the bright side, I will not be stuck in a car without A/C ever again. Huzzah.

Too hot? BAH! I love 100 degrees. But the rain made it really cool around here.

100+ in Central Pennsylvania. Left the air conditioned house to run to the store for a few minutes today. Showered before I left, showered when I got home. Ick. Even the river stinks. Ever SO grateful for a/c, not so thrilled to get the electric bill. Hoping for some storms to bring it down to the high 80's next Friday.

I know I love hot weather when people talk about the lack of AC in their cars. Because that kind of shit doesn't bother me when I have to deal with. For example, last year when I was back home in Phoenix, I was using the third (very used) car that Neets and Golf Boy have. No tinted windows, no AC. In Phoenix in late April, which is hotter than most places get all year. And since Phoenix is a huge place that is very spread out, most of my drives were not just around the corner. Hell, the day I went from Neets' to my parents' to my stepsister's to Nurse Betty's I logged easily over 100 miles. With my only AC being "two down at 70." And I was perfectly fine. No dripping with sweat or anything.

As I said, I LIKE the heat.

It's the COLD I can't deal with. I was in far worse shape this last winter driving around during the Florida cold spell in the Jestermobile whose heater works less than a welfare cheat than I was that week in April.

You can have your hot back after Friday; I won't be here then. In the meanwhile, I've got errands to run. Although, of course it would cool down now that I'm not walking up and down the hill everyday.

Including the humidity, it's 97F/36C at 12:30am in a city that is known for being one of the coldest national capitals in the world.

                  It's too hot.

Though in 6 months, it'll be -36C/-32F and trying to keep warm.

But until then, I'm about to do the Homer Simpson thing and pitch a tent outside the open fridge door.

It even got too hot for Winston today, and hedgehogs are naturally desert creatures. Poor little guy sprawled out in the middle of his cage and shot me death glares like the heat was my fault. Trust me kid I'd make it colder if I could.

I'm the opposite, I love cold weather I hate hot weather. For me hot weather turns me into a really cranky bitch.

I like the heat, but apparently not as much as Jester does. I need my A/C.

It's horribly hot here - it hit 33 with a humidex in the mid-40's yesterday. We didn't open the windows until after 21:00. They're going to get closed again shortly, and not because we're leaving, because they NEED to be closed. And it's not even 7:00.

That being said - it is nice to get some summer occasionally. I just need to remember to wear my cream trousers instead of the heavy and dark ones.

I HATE the days (like today) where it's so hot and humid that you start sweating as soon as you get out of the shower.

                                I feel so gross.
