What is wrong with people? The heat index is well over 100*F and they still want to play putt-putt, the air isn't even moving and there is no shade over most of the course.
Just broke 101 here.....and Riley chooses NOW to cuddle. Crazy cat.

Just had my father look at my AC....the fan is broken...I have no AC. Bloody great. I can survive, I am just worried about the cats.

I'm just happy that today is supposed to be the hottest of the week....going "down" to the upper 80s for the rest of the week

Yeah, everyone kinda gets the idea of "South American Country=Tropical Hot Country"
It's winter here. Now, it never snows, but it's still cold enough to require a large fleecy (sp?) jacket.
When I lived up in Maryland, I used to let my kitties lick ice cubes when the weather got too hot. One of them actually licked frozen nacho cheese (I used to put a few plastic spoons full of nacho cheese in the freezer for her)

The weather gadget on my computer says it's 100 and sunny...but it's almost 9pm so I'm thinkin' that sunny part isn't quite accurate (Ok, well my curtains were closed...it's not quite as dark as I thought). Weather.com says 91. The thermometer on my balcony says 93.
Did I mention it's almost 9:00? PM?
edit: heh, as I was posting the weather gadget switched from sunny to dark and clear. It still thinks it's 100, though.
84 here, just got back from the gym. They had AC there. Was nice!
I heard that around 330pm today my office lost AC.....wonder if it'll be fixed by tomorrow

It's about 34 C here with a humidex of 41. For you Murricans that means it's 93 F but feels like 106 because of the humidity.
The air conditioning in my office is a couple of window units and they don't do shit. The window beside my desk is in the shade, so it's open and there's an oscillating fan pulling cool air through. It's tolerable, but... I hate it when there are no cool surfaces to touch. No metal, no plastic, no wood. My wooden desk and my padded cloth chair are warm.
I like the heat, but apparently not as much as Jester does. I need my A/C.
Oh, I need my AC too, especially in my apartment. It gets miserable in here when the AC is on the fritz, which happens too often for the comfort of either myself or my roommate.
That being said, I CAN tool around the desert in a car with no AC if I have to. I CAN go bicycling in the heat in the desert, and actually like it, but that is for recreation, not an all-day thing, if you follow me.
