So, I'm a bit of an anomaly, unfortunately. I am a girl who lifts weights. I took a weight training class in 04 and fell in love. Well, I got involved with a low-key gym in my area in Feb, but started working 90+ hours a week in April. I haven't seen the gym since April. Today was my first day back, finally, and I was a bit under-motivated. Until... A very, very handsome man approaches me while I'm on a breather from a set of squats. In his very cute dutch accent he says..

Dutch: You have excellent form when you do squats.
    Me: Thanks
Dutch: I never see anyone doing squats properly, let alone women doing them AND doing them properly
    Me:
    Dutch: It's impressive

Oh hell yes. You can watch my proper squat form all day long, Mr. Dutch Accent. Not to mention, I was maxed out at 100lbs in April. Today I maxed out at 110lbs. I also made a bet with a friend that if I maxed out at 100lbs or under I'd give away my Whiskey.
Thou shalt not take the name of thy goddess Whiskey in vain.

Another weightlifter! I love lifting and have to force myself to do cardio; I keep on telling myself that my heart health is as important as my skeletal muscles. Good squat form is hard to do - my strength has gone down since I started eating less (stress-related) .
