  • METAL!!!

Every year in Ottawa there is a live music festival called Bluesfest. Being a live music junkie I always get a full pass for the entire festival. This years lineup is especially great IMHO.

Tonight is opening night want to guess who's headlining tonight?

    IRON MAIDEN and DREAM THEATER!!!!!

It's my first time seeing either band live and I'm just a wee bit pumped!!!

Funny, I've seen both, but not at the same time. They both put on a great show.

heee I'm very excited! I'm going to see a few of the other acts (I never got into Iron Maiden in high school, Dream Theatre I'd be a bit more excited about).

I'm still bummed my Simon & Garfunkel concert got cancelled though

The concerts opening night were incredible!! my neck was sore the next day. One cute moment was an 8 year old kid next to us teaching my girlfriend how to throw the horns 'because girls can rock out too" lol

Tonight we re heading back to the festival to see The Moody Blues ( all you youngster can google them if you need to) as well as the B-52s should be a good time !!

Copper! That's my favorite metal. It's so warm and shiny...oh, what? Oh, it's not about that? Uh, ok, um, nevermind....*slinks off*

A friend of mine has a shirt with all sorts of "heavy metals" (elements) written in ways that look like they're band names. It's priceless.

I LOVE THAT SHIRT!!!! My sister was going to get it for dad for x-mas a few years back, and it was out of stock in his size or something, but every time i see it, it makes me giggle.
