So about 20 mins after my shower, I smell a very very faint sulphur smell. I debate for while on what to do, and final so indeed call the gas company.
He gets here (very quickly!) and I do not have a gas leak. The venting from the gas to the hot water heater is crap, and I had 10 ppm of CO venting in. So he shuts off the connection to the water heater.
At least it is now safe. And in the hot weather, I have no desire to have a hot shower.
Ok, natural gas isn't evil....but there was a leak down the street from me yesterday.
and if wouldn't be so damned nervous if I had a roomie.
Moral of the story....just because your paranoid doesn't make you crazy.
