  • Crazy Mad Coincidence!

Boyfriend and I are stunned at this one.

In the UK there is a drink called lime cordial, it comes as a syrup and you add water to it, to my knowledge there is only one company that makes it and it is not found in many small shops you have to go to a big supermarket. It has been very hot here.I remembered drinking lime cordial as a small child and had a craving for some with ice. Usually I drink coke. I went and got some lime cordial.
It is the first time I have had any in oh must be some thirty years.

Boyfriend came in from work and said

"I had something at work that I haven't had in many years, I asked my coworker to get me some water and ice at breaktime, and he came back with a glass of lime cordial".

Boyfriend had no idea that I had bought some today, till I showed him the bottle.
Customer "why did you answer the phone if you can't help me?"

Synchronicity. Happens all the time, and most of the time, we don't even notice.

I don't believe in coincidence. But I do believe in synchronicity.

I think synchronicity is somthing slightly didfferent although I couldn't tell you exactly what the difference is.

My idea of synchroniciticity is this (happened today)

I was writing a shopping list.
At the exact time I was writing "teabags" someone on television said "I've made a cup of tea".

Once, my boyfriend walked in and I said "Simon called for you, he left a message"As I got up to get the piece of paper I had written the message on, someone on TV said "I wrote the message down, hold on while I get the piece of paper I wrote it on".

That was a pretty good synchronicity.

Now you've mentioned it I really fancy some
Used to drink lots of lime & soda while bar working. was a very good cooler & thirst quencher.
            Arp happens!

Just when I was getting used to yesterday, along came today.

Jackdaw likes it with rum over ice. (Although he'll use lime juice and sugar just as readily).

Remembers me of once when I and Mr Zel were watching some old movie (I think it was Beverly Hills Cop 1, but I digress).

Mr. Zel farts. Approx. 5 seconds after the "incident" we hear from the telly: "Hey, what's that smell?!"
A theory states that if anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for, it will be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

Another theory states that this has already happened.

i like it in lemon lime and bitters.

1.Rim the inside of a glass with 5-6 dashes of Angostura aromatic bitters

                  2. Add ice and swirl until the glass is evenly coated with Angostura aromatic bitters

                  3. Fill glass with lemonade or Sprite and a shot (15 ml) of lime cordial or fresh lime juice. For a low-cal version fill glass with soda

                  4. Garnish with a slice of lemon or lime

I found this looking up info on it. http://thespiritworld.net/2007/12/03...-lime-cordial/ sounds easy enough to make.

For those of you who believe there is a purpose in synchronicity, what is this one about? Made me shiver.

I have been reading a book about the second world war, called "the tunnel" writte by Eric Williams in 1950.I got to page 50.

I then watched the news and noted that in a tunnel in Germany, many people had been killed in a crush at a concert yesterday.Very tragic. In a place called Duisberg.I have never heard of it.

hmm, tunnel, a synchronicity, anyway, back to my book.............

Page 51........."it was a hot summer's night in Duisberg".

I put the book down again quickly.

What are the odds on that then?
