So we came home to notices that [Red] cable has contracted someone to upgrade the cable in our apartment. The notice was mostly the "if you can't be there, there will be the property manager and a security guard while the contractor is there" stuff. However, what this means to me is that we can finally switch phone and internet away from [Blue] phone company. *happy dance* 
I probably wouldn't bother to switch if they hadn't given us such service problems (and I have a history of bad service from them, it's fine if everything works, except for the semi-monthly calls from them). However, they will legally not be able to call us three months after we switch, AND our internet speed should go up, because I'm fairly sure that there are hardware issues causing a lot of our trouble (phone is really quiet, internet is intermittent).
