  • Stealing movie quotes and not attributing them

This is about as off topic as you can get I guess....so a long time ago when my wife and I were first dating, I was looking for the "right things" to say to her....so being a typical beta and not being able to think of anything I sort of paraphrased a love-scene dialogue from a movie to express my feelings.

Suppose she were to actually see this movie some day....y'all think she'd even notice, or be pretty upset, or notice and not care?

Not knowing your wife, I really can't say what she'd do.

Myself, if I noticed, I would probably laugh.

If it were me and I recognized the quote later on, I'd laugh and think it was cute. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

As long as you're not still living your life via movie dialogue, I'd say you're ok.
