Awww, thanks so much guys! When I get to my parents' place tomorrow, I'll set up my laptop and post pics and give y'all the full story. But right now, I squeezing in every last second with my fiance that I can. At least I get to see him for a little bit next Sunday, and then again in August.

We're long distance. I live in Kansas, he lives in Little Rock, Ar. I've been visiting for the past week, but I'm leaving today to spend time with my folks, who live in NE Arkansas, about 3 hours from here. On Sunday, Mom is having a big combined birthday dinner for me and my sister, and Fiance is going to pick up his mom and brother and come see me for that. (This is also a chance for families to meet each other.) Then he goes back to Little Rock, and on Monday, I go back to Kansas. :/ He's been looking for a job, but no luck so far.

The tentative date is "after I take my comps" which will be the end of next fall semester (Fall 2011). That spring or early summer, maybe. He needs to clear out a lot of debt, as do I, and we have to save up money for the wedding and honeymoon. My folks will certainly help with some things (like my dress), but his mom is in a very tight spot financially and probably won't be able to help at all. (Which is fine, of course. I'd only take the money from my folks because they paid for a portion of my sister's wedding.)

Unfortunately, I left the AC adapter for my laptop and my bf's place, and I had just enough battery to download the software for my new camera and post pictures on Facebook. However, I will give you guys the full story.....at last!

Pre-story: We went ring-shopping in June, and he called and talked to the folks shortly after that. He then began telling me of money problems, too many bills, but that he hoped he'd be able to propose before the end of the year. I admit, I was bummed, but I knew he'd ask when he was ready. Also, when he asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I told him I wanted a camera, because mine was a small brick.

Okay, so we get to our cabin in Eureka Springs and get kinda settled in when he asks me, "Do you want to go ahead and open your present?" Well, of course! So, I open the bag and he says, "Read the tag." It says "watch me." He says, "I recorded a birthday message on your camera." So, I'm watching the video and it's all very sweet when he says, "Oh, and there's another present, and it's kinda special, so I'll just show it to you..." And there was the ring. And then my bf pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him. It was so sweet and such a surprise. He did very well.

Although, I have a question. Do I wear the ring all the time? Do I take it off to shower or sleep? This is most expensive possession I have (besides my car) and I am terrified of doing something to it or losing it.
