    *hands Amina some stingose*

Also, I remember getting eaten alive whenever I'm up at my boyfriend's place. He lives closer to Nyoibo and near a creek. Or did live near a creek. Hence in summertime, when it's just a sheet or two over the top of us, guess who gets bitten and scratches everything?

I'm sorry, I hope the itchies stop. Try putting a cold used teabag on the bites.

I have to admit, I thought of that scene in Lilo & Stitch when Pleakley gets bitten by a swarm of mosquitoes.

I was trying to figure out how a thread about a juicy nurse could be bad.

        Thanks, Amina.

You mean I am not alone in getting eaten by those little buggers. We went camping at Mt. Rainier this last weekend and I was a buffet to those buggers every day. I swear they were getting through my shirts to get to me.

Plus I am lucky and get welts from them. Found a repletent that was based with Lemon Grass and ecuphlays (and no I can can't spell :P) It worked pretty well. Plus it smelled better then Off.

The mosquitoes here are around the size of cans of spam. We call 'em 'Osgoode Chicken Rapers' for a reason.

A full can of RAID Might get three of 'em stoned. a .410 Shotgun shell will put them down for good.

Yeah, we have a problem with them here, too. I found some blood in my malaria stream this morning, so some of them are falling down on the job.

I got eaten alive over the weekend. At last count there are 53 bites on my legs, arms, back, and chest. One of my facebook friends suggested putting white toothpaste on the bites for the itching. I thought why not, the calamine lotion isn't working. So I was polka-dotted for a couple of days, but it worked so well! Just rub a little of the toothpaste on each bit until you really can't see white anymore and just let dry. Hope that helps ya! I hate the itchies!

I feel your pain. My grandpa always jokes that if there ever comes a day when there is ONE mosquito left in the world it will make it's way to where ever I am just to bite me.

I'm almost hesitant to ask, but what does this mean? It doesn't sound very pleasant.

Well, it was an evidently not very successful attempt at a joke.

I was suggesting all my blood had been sucked out and had been replaced with mosquito disease.

I got eaten on Saturday night. They're all on my legs (one or two on my arm). I asked my roommate if I could take a bath in calamine lotion (she suggested taking a Benedryl might be more practical...).

This is the reason I was inspired to ask this question in a PFB thread...
