I'm beginning to think I'm rather ... odd ... for getting it right away.
Me nth! What can I say? Today's a good day for my brain.

I understood it too, one I didn't get at all was the ABC-gum in another thread .

Bees generally leave humans alone unless you bother them. They just buzz around and look for flowers. Wasps are another matter entirely.

Mosquitoes don't carry malaria in Europe or North America, fortunately - so they are just annoying and itchy when they bite, not dangerous.

Unfortunately, not true. Mosquitos in North American can carry West Nile Virus.

Argh, I hate mosquitoes. I haven't been bitten in a while [mainly because I venture outside seldom ], but when I am, it's awful. I can normally stand the itching of a couple of bites because I remind myself that if I don't scratch, they will go away a lot faster. But if I have a lot? Screw it, I have to scratch. I've scratched mosquito bites until they were bloody. Not fun.

Oh, and one time I got bitten on the underside/side of my arm where I didn't see, but it rubbed against my clothing constantly. When I did see it, it was HUUUUUUUGE. Like if a small orange was flat...it was about that circumference almost. And swelled up. I was like AAAAH OH MY GAWD! Had to put a band-aid over it, or I'd probably still have it.
