I'm proud of myself, this is the first time I've exercised in a couple years. Within the last three years, I'd fractured my left ankle, sprained both ankles once (seperately), dislocated my knee, and been hit in the hip by a car (idiot driver backing up very fast without watching). I spent cumulatively about 8 months of the last three years on crutches at various times. So... it'd just been too painful for a while.
Put on some weight through that and long term should probably lose about 20 lbs. Right now I'm more concerned with getting back in shape than any numbers though.
I'm just doing the treadmill right now, easing myself back into it. School does have exercise rooms and a track and pool; I usually avoid them because they're filled with bullemic girls bragging about how many times they've already thrown up that day (school is pretty messed up...) but I think I'll just take my iPod and drown them out.
TLDR; yay! I'm proud that I finally have the motivation to do this. It's not much, but between the injuries and the depression it feels like a lot to me.
