I am betting his alledged "ankle" problems will magically go away 3 games into the regular season. (just does not want to do the training camp thing but wants to make that "dramtic drama queen white knight saving the day " type entrance.

The stations here are giving the story waaaayyyyy too much coverage and the national outlets are just giving him unwanted attention again.

the problem is is that all you have to do is stick a #4 on ANY NFL uniform and the dummies around here WILL buy it (overpriced as it is)

I was a huge Brett fan, so much so, that when he had his crying press conference to announce his retirement (the first one) I took time off of work and went to a local sports bar to watch. I've been sick and tired of this crap he's been doing since he first tried to come back. What part of "team" does that man not understand?? Football is about the team, not one man, and if he can't make up his fuckin' mind, he needs to get the fuck out of the way for the good of the team. I don't understand people who don't understand this thinking!!! I'll be a Packers fan forever. I even own Packer stock! But Brett can go fuck himself. He could have been a god in Wisconsin for the rest of his life, but he screwed that up.

Um, he's made no drama this off-season. Not once did he say he was definitely retiring. The only thing Favre said this off-season was that as long as his surgery goes well, he's playing. Sounds like something any player having surgery would (and does) say.
