  • Favorite Dance Song?

I'm looking for new things to add to my dance/housework/get-my-ass-out-of-bed playlist, so I was wondering what everyone's favorite songs were to get them moving.

My current playlist is pretty short, only five songs.

No No Raja - Moxy Früvous
    Bad Things - Jace Everett
    Ketamine - Carfax Abbey
    Ooh La La - Goldfrapp
    Just Dance - Lady Gaga
The High Priest is an Illusion!

Lady Gaga - Bad Romance (skrillex remix) from the remix album.
Lovegame (space cowboy remix) is good too. Oh, and Beautiful Monster (neyo/gaga mash up).

    I'm on a kick.

Break your heart - Taio Cruz
Birthday Sex (uptempo mix) - Jeremih
    3 - Britney Spears

((Yes, I am a huge Lady Gaga fan myself))

Since Gaga is pretty much covered..

Imma be rocking that body - BEP
      Pump it - BEP
Wind it Up - Gwen Stefani (spelling?)

Of course, I think that most countries of the world have declared my dancing a war crime or something (maybe a natural disaster?)

      Oh and just for 'moving'

Eye of the Tiger - Survivor
      Johnny B. Good
      Danger Zone

Gah the list, the list she is endless...
Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong.

I'm not a big fan of dance music, I have a few 'motivate' songs...

              Joe Satriani's "Raspberry Jam Delta-V".

              Rush's "Marathon".

              Coheed & Cambria's "Far".

              Muse's "Supermassive Black Hole".

              Tim Feehan's "Where's The Fire".

              Roger Hodgson's "Had A Dream".

Chris de Burgh's "Don't Pay the Ferryman".

That's off the top of my head... There's more but I can't think of them right now...

              Oh, and, of course... THIS!

              (and THIS!)
"Kamala the Ugandan Giant" 1950-2020 • "Bullet" Bob Armstrong 1939-2020 • "Road Warrior Animal" 1960-2020 • "Zeus" Tiny Lister Jr. 1958-2020 • "Hacksaw" Butch Reed 1954-2021 • "New Jack" Jerome Young 1963-2021 • "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff 1949-2021 • "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton 1958-2021 • Daffney 1975-2021

I believe it was Billy Idol, at least in the 80s.

Hmm I am tempted to bring a forum game over from another forum I visit. Called "Your the DJ" where you create play lists (mix tapes) to certain things (Ie, dance..80's..etc)...not sure I could come up with enough interesting categories.

If you like techno, electronica type stuff, Armin van Buuren is pretty good (I like "Broken Tonight" and "In and Out of Love") or Imogen Heap.
