Abandoned kittens

This happened today, and it was heartbreaking. I woke up this morning to hear a cat wailing. I looked out the window, and there was a tiny cat underneath crying its heart out. I dressed and went down with water and it was perfectly friendly; then the other one appeared. I couldn't feed them as I had nothing; my neighbour however gave them some sardines and milk.

I called the Cat's Protection League, but I feel bad cuz there's nothing else I can do for the poor little cats. They're still kittens, but way past the ickle stage; they're able to lap and eat, so I think that someone dumped them cuz they stopped being "cute". I think they're still cute, personally, but their arsehole owners obviously think different. I've put down some water for them til the CPL take them away; I really hope they get good homes. I can't take them in as my flat doesn't allow pets, and my parents already have Daisy.

Dont give them anymore cow milk. It makes cats sick and if they get diarrhea they could get dehydrated and end up in bad condition.

I'm not giving them anything right now, as the CPL picked them up ages ago. They were both super friendly, so hopefully they'll both be rehomed very quickly. In any case, they were starving, and the fish and milk was all my neighbour had so I doubt it'll cause them any damage.

Thanks. ^^ It upset me for a while today but at least now they're safe and have a chance of getting good homes. And I hope that karma bites their owner in the arse, hard.

It's awful at what people have been doing to their pets recently.

As for the league - kittens (well, any baby animal) are very easy to adopt out (and most even charge extra for babies). Unless they end up having some serious health issues, they should find new (and good) homes in no time.

We used to give ours Whiskas kitten milk until they reached a certain age and after that, we just gave them water.

I got my first cat when she was unweaned, so I gave her milk til I'd weaned her, after that, Whiskas milk.

I would have loved to have taken the two kittens, but I really couldn't. They were so friendly when I went down to give them water that I stroked them for ages. And one followed me into my flat. XD I had to take it downstairs again and put it outside. I say it, cuz I don't know what gender they were.
