does anyone know where i can go to find audiobooks i can download for relatively cheep? my local library mostly caries american ones and i'm looking for the dr who ones.

I personally keep an Audible account going for just this. For a set price, (14.95/mo) which gives me 1 credit a month to download a book. I can generally download any book with 1 credit (occasionally 2, but rarely). I always make sure my free book costs more than the monthly cost.
Beyond that, at Podiobooks.com you can download books for free and pay the authors directly if you choose to. I've found some good books there too.
