We found out our dental coverage ends at the end of September. We thought we had it for my husband's lifetime, since he retired. He had to retire or be laid off, so he took retirement. As crappy as our dental insurance is, it was better than nothing.
Anyway, I had to have extensive dental surgery today, which required drilling into the bone and a shitload of Novocaine. I was not happy to be having this done and the dentist had to stop a few times to give me more Novocaine. This time my dentist didn't say anything about how much Novocaine I needed, which she usually does.
Now, I usually have a high tolerance for pain, but not when it comes to dental work, with dental work I am a big huge baby about pain.
I don't know why this is it just is.
To say it hurt like a SOB when I got home would put it mildly so I was watching the clock for my husband to bring home my pain medication. I have to say for my dentist that she gives me the awesome pain medications and doesn't make me suffer.
I have zero pain right now, which is unusual, since I usually have some sort of pain, not even my legs hurt right now. YIPPEE and a gold star for my dentist!
