Platforms are far easier to walk in. I have a pair of 4 1/2 inch heels, no platform. Its almost impossible to walk in, even for me.

You get used to it. I used to wear high heels to my office job where I stood and filed paperwork all day. No foot pain at all.

One day I'll post about the trip from hell (which I should have know would be a trip from hell considering the confirmation number for my bus ticket was 66681690), but not tonight. For now, I'm here safe and sound, though as I posted on FB, I believe "sound" is a relative term. I've been *mostly* awake for about 48 hours and have hardly eaten in the same time period. I can't sleep cause of the strange city noises (having gotten used to living in the middle of nowhere with only the sounds of crickets and tree frogs). Urgh

I'm debating whether or not to wear the 5-inch heels again today. There's a Halloween party at the dining hall and you get dinner free if you're in costume. So obviously I'm being my adorable kitty-girl self, but debating if I wanna walk from my dorm to the dining hall and back again...in five inch platform mary janes. That might be too much...but FUCK, they're so cute.
