Quiche is literally the perfect food

my personal (daily) macro split is 40/40/20. 41/45/14 isnt bad for not paying attention
(thats just 3/5 meals, not all 5. I need to shove ~1200 more calories in my face by the end of today)
edit: changed the image, forgot to add butter. still not bad.Last edited by Whiskey; 09-14-2010, 12:38 AM.Thou shalt not take the name of thy goddess Whiskey in vain.

Thunder in Jersey? In the four year I lived there, I only recall one thunder storm. Heavy rains, high winds (classic Noreaster) but only one thunder & lightning show.Quoth BookstoreEscapee View PostTHUNDER!!!!!

We get some good ones once in a while. This summer's been pretty sad though.Quoth csquared View PostThunder in Jersey? In the four year I lived there, I only recall one thunder storm. Heavy rains, high winds (classic Noreaster) but only one thunder & lightning show.
I like thunderstorms. Only a couple good booms this time, and I didn't really see any lighting (roomie did but she can see out the door better from where she's sitting). We got some good wind and rain, though.

Point Pleasant. *
During that thunderstorm, I was at a customer site. The first "boom" and three of the ladies in the office were under their desks, and one guy heading for an interior conference room.
ETA: * Exit 90

I grew up in northern Illinois. Watched the storm roll in over the corn fields. You could watch it for half an hour before it got to you.Quoth BookstoreEscapee View PostOh geez...I'd be at the window watching

We get some good ones down here. However, with the hills and trees, you can't see them until they are on top of you. Now if only I could afford to buy the top of a mountain...

I would say "At least I don't have to worry about hurricanes." However, NJ has never taken a direct hit by a hurricane, and the year I moved to Atlanta, Opal was still hurricane strength when it reached us.

My favorite hurricane was Gloria when I was in 5th grade. We got out of school for the day and it literally poured rain all day long.
We've had a few small tornadoes in recent(ish) years but nothing that caused any major damage (and not near my house).I don't go in for ancient wisdom
