I GOT A PROMOTION!!!!!!!!
went into work last week and was told that i was losing my team lead. Seeing as i have had 10 team leads in just over 12 months at work i was PISSED. latest team lead rocks. turns out shes going to our retention dept and says she will be with us till the end of the week. BUT she can take some of us with her, just gotta take a competency test and pass a 4 stage interview process. great. filled out the paper work and took the mind numbing test complete with psychoanalysis. sat through 3 interviews and bit my nails untill friday. she comes over to my desk around 8:30 friday and has this funny look on her face.
TL:sooo i guess your wondering if you passed....
Me: well duh, and this late in the day im guessing i didnt.
TL: about that....
(couldnt figure out what was with the pauses)
Me: spit it out, your wont hurt my feelings.
TL: you start training on monday, rm 5, 8 am
to say that i was thrilled is an understatement. raise plus different calls, and the ability to actually fix problems rather than pass them off to someone else, what more could i want.
