2010 Christmas Card Exchange-Tally up!!!

[Andara Bledin]

Several days' worth of cards all jumbled in the mailbox.

... along with a notice that my car insurance has been canceled! ... no idea how, but they were using the wrong bank account... another thing to work on tomorrow.

On with the cards:

Parrothead - reindeer
Reyneth - sweet tooth kitteh
Treasure - cozy
Joe HX - snowman
Abby_Normal - scary bear >_>
Camry178 - funny bears
BethB - cute
Aethian - shiny... with fancy postmark
EricKei - sparkles

I have tallied, and only 10 cards have not yet reached my door. (or gotten nearly here and been turned back for insufficient address )

^-.-^

[BookstoreEscapee]

Still no mail today. Don't know if that's because of the crappy job they did clearing the walkway by my apartment or just because there was no mail for us.

[Bella_Vixen]

Got a card from BethB today.

[TawnyMyst]

I got Cinema Guy's, Pederson's, and BethB's today.

[telecom_goddess]

Eric Kei, Parrothead, and BethB...gotta put up another string to display them all ...I have them strung across the wall in one room ....pretty cool.

Ok the only ones I haven't tallied yet as being received are BlaquKatt, Cazzie, Grape the Cat, Munkie, Reyneth, Shroo, SteverinoNY, Joe hx and Kihanson-- did I mention at some point getting these and didn't tally them? I've tried to be super diligent about that. I'm going to look them over more when I get home.

[Becks]

Today's cards are from

• Andara Bledin (pretty unicorn!)
• Erickei (nice and glittery)
• Parrothead (pretty)
• BethB (cute)

Finishing each others sentences...

It's what we do on occasion.

[BethB]

I sent the international ones early cuz I didn't want them to be horrendously late. My US ones should be getting to everyone soon.

P.S. I also have to find where I put the cards. I haven't tallied up all the recent ones. ooops!!

[Ree]

I'm sure the rest of the cards are on their way.
I was only concerned because my mail service really sucks lately.

I am getting mail intended for other people, so I have to wonder if mine is going astray.

Two weeks ago, I got mail meant for the house next door, and just last week, I got mail that was meant for a home with the same house number as mine, but on the next street up that runs parallel to mine.

I am just concerned that my cards are sitting in some stranger's home and they haven't bothered to return them to the post office.

[Ironclad Alibi]

Today I received five more cards. These were the special postmarked card with ornaments from Aethian, snowcats from BethB, a furry snowman (very cute puppy disguised as a snowman) from Camry178, an envelope full of glitter and polar bears from EricKei, and a bird and snowman from Parrothead.

This leaves only eight more cards to receive. Looking at the tally sheet, I think most of them are on the way. Only 45 of the cards I sent out have been tallied so far.

[Wenchie]

Cards received today:

Erickei - GLITTER!
Parrothead - so cute!

[Ree]

I won't get any more mail until Wednesday, but I seem to have almost 1/3 of my cards left to receive, although some are showing as received by others in this thread and in the tallies.
At this point, I think it's probably easier to list the ones I have not heard from, in case someone sent their cards early but it went astray.
I know some have mentioned sending them late, and it will probably take a bit to reach the frozen north known as Canada.

These are cards I am still waiting to receive:
Andara Bledin
AriGriffin
BethB
BlaqueKatt
Camry178
EricKei
Munkie
ParkingWitch
Parrothead
Pedersen
Reyneth
Rine
Shroo
Sonoma
SteverinoNY
cinema guy
joe hx
klhanson
protege
technical.angel

I also notice my own tally still only shows 41 cards, so I really hope people start tallying up soon.
