2010 Christmas Card Exchange-Tally up!!!

I set my cards aside until I decorate for Christmas. I've been trying to remember to tally, but kept forgetting.

When I came home from work the other night, there wasn't a stick of furniture in my living room, and everything had been packed up into my spare room.
My friend decided to surprise me and completely redo and paint my living room, and he even stripped all the curtains off my window.

I dug through the spare room tonight and found a stack of cards and entered them, so I really hope I haven't missed any.

Im on vacation right now, but Ill be home monday and I should come home to a stack of cards Ill tally up then.

All right! I mailed out my US and UK cards today. So hopefully you get them before Christmas!

I am at work right now, but when I get home I will check the mail and add any new tallied!

Okay, the post office now has all my cards!

10 cards went out today. The rest of the half of the US cards that I had stamps for may or may not go out today. The rest of the US cards, and the international cards will go out Monday.

I'm glad I had that roll of stamps. Only cost me around $19 to send out the cards!

Hey all!

Just a small update - I've been trying to keep up on my tallies and I think I'm up to date.

I sent out all of my Canada/UK and about 1/4th of my US based ones on Tuesday. I am sending the rest next week.

Like many others, I'm a bit overextended this year and had to divide my postage up into two purchases.

Rock on, everyone...and I agree, this is alot of fun!

I feel like such a slacker - haven't been able to send one card yet!

But, I finally was able to print out the labels at my mom's - my desktop PC has officially died and my mac laptop didn't let me format the list the way I needed to. Writing them out just wasn't going to happen this year, so I needed to wait to get to a working PC that I could print the labels on. Success - finally. I have resisted temptation - I am not letting myself open even one until I have mine sent!

Internationals to go out the beginning of the week, the rest at the end after I get paid. $60 in the bank account doesn't pay for many stamps when there is gas and other things to worry about too!

I can't wait to see them all and to put them up all around my cube and make my coworkers jealous! Maybe I'll actually send family ones this year too.....maybe.

I've had NO cards since, like, Tuesday!!!

But today I got Lurking Sockpuppet's very pretty card!

Hopefully mine will be in the mail by Monday or Tuesday.

Today, the mailman was nice enough to deliver wonderful cards from trailerparkmedic and Lurking Sockpuppet*.

*I also got Bella's in my mailbox by mistake, so I put it under her door. Maybe later I should move it so she doesn't step on it after work.
