  • The Kindle is a bookworm's dream :D

For my birthday this year, my parents bought me a Kindle. As it was back-ordered, I didn't actually get it until this past week. However, I've been waiting until now to play with it because I've got nothing else to do at the moment...

...and I must say this right now- I freakin' love this thing!!! They have a whole entire huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge list of books on the Kindle Store, that are free. That is all different kinds of awesome, because I now have a bunch of classic books that I've been meaning to read on it. I'm trying, for now, to avoid looking at the ones that aren't free. Because I know that if I find something I particularly get starry-eyed over, I'm gonna end up buying it regardless of how much it actually costs.

Any suggestions of classic books? I've already got several Austen books and some Dickens, Wells, Stevenson, Frankenstein, Jekyll & Hyde, Dracula....

I've been meaning to read Alice in Wonderland. I saw it mentioned recently on a blog I read, and I have the movie (Tim Burton version) sitting on my coffee table waiting to be watched (gonna watch it tonight).

    What Dickens do you have?

Oliver Twist, but I might put more if the mood strikes me. The Kindle Store had a few more (Great Expectations, Nicholas Nickelby, and I think some others besides)
