Not Slovenly..........Just Forgot

So I was standing outside the house and happened to look at the net curtains hanging in the windows.I realised I hadn't taken them down for a wash for a couple of years!

I can't think how I left them so long because usually I make a note in my diary of tasks which need doing regularly so as not to forget!

Anyway I put them in the bath with hot water and washing powder and the water turned a muddy brown immediately!



Now I'm wondering what other tasks I've forgotten!

I did the same thing. Curtains sort of become part of the wall. You see them so often you stop seeing them after a while. I had white gauze one and they looked like something off a Halloween mummy.

I have blinds over the front windows, but I just ran to the bathroom & looked at the curtain in there.... yuk.

Just when I thought I'd got on top of all the laundry
Come to think of it, not stretched up to the tops of the blinds lately

Mine went directly into the trash. And the sneezing that followed was apocolyptic.

Replaced them with georgeous striped balloon shades. Did you know Waverly does not bother including directions on how to hang ballon shades in the package? They don't.

I'd like to do that with my bathroom one, its borning.
But it will have to wait til I have spare funds.. my PC has just cost me an arm & a leg again & my cell phone is starting to fall apart.

They say things happen in 3's... whats the third thing thats going to break!!!

I'm also getting the urge to spring clean & decorate!
Think I'd better go for a lie down until the urge passes
