Don't discount it - I had a BF who loved swiping my peachskin silk peignoire and using it as a lounging robe. As I like strong colors instead of pastels, the dark green looked good on him.

Don't mind me. I am just going to curl up in the corner with my pillow and blanket and have a good old fashioned girl cry for no reason other than I am having a very melancholy kind of day.

Haven't had one this bad in a while, and I don't know what set it off this time. (Well, I have a hunch, but never mind. It would result in a TLDR type post. )

I can agree with that - it is one of those nasty cold dank drizzly days here. We have the woodstove cranked up with dinner simmering, a batch of granola in baking and I just can't seem to get warm either.

This is turning out to be one hell of a nasty winter.

Currently in hospital with suspected appendicitis. Took two attempts for the doctor to get my cannula in.

Once again, my tax refund went poof. Apparently I was supposed to cover the entire rent last month. I swear sometimes mom thinks I have a secret bank account somewhere...what she still doesn't realize is that if I default on my student loan or main CC (which she convinced me to add her as a user on a few years ago...little did I realize what would happen), we are both screwed.

I know I need a better job and am seriously working on that. What isn't helpful is the near-constant reminder (basically any time something about jobs comes on the news)...it's distracting me from doing what I need to do to make that happen.
