Alright so recently I came up with a great idea for a webcomic. It kind of started when I was making jokes with my older brother while watching Venture Bros. Soon I started developing some pretty interesting characters, and I realized I REALLY wanted to do this. Moreover, I wanted to do the story as a webcomic.
So I have a problem and an issue. The problem is that I don't have a title for the webcomic. The issue is, I can't draw. Well, I can draw. But not very well. I am horrible with perspective, and I have shaky hands. The solution seemed simple: Get someone else to draw the comic.
Then a new problem came up, all my friends who can draw either hate the project, don't have time, or want to be paid. So I realized the only thing I could do was beg people on the internet. Namely, you people. As CS is the one community I actually take part of on the internet.
I do have a friend who was offered to vectorize and colour the art. So I just need someone to draw things.
So I want everyone to read the description of the story and give me title ideas. Everyone who is interested in drawing please read the rest of the post.
Alright so the story is kind of Sci-Fi Fantasy. The universe of the story is full of magic and superheroes. It's basic insanity really. The main character is a young geneticist named Lacey Kimaire. She has a pet ferret with batwings named Ozzy. She spliced him herself. She is a second generation mad scientist. Her father being the infamous Dr. Chimera, aka Dr. Andreas Kimaire. Her mother is a British Secret Agent. Her older brother Ro is also a mad scientist, but he designs robots. She has a superhero boyfriend named Aiden. His current persona is the Crimson Fury, but when he was younger he was the sidekick to a superhero. His sidekick name was Sparky. Other main characters include Chelsea, Lacey's assistant and Ro's Second in command Jace.
So I was hoping if anyone was interested, you could give me some sample drawings of some characters from the story. Then we could work together on the story.
The update schedule would be totally sporadic. It really is meant to just be a creative outlet.
For samples I will need a drawing of Lacey, one of another main character, Ozzy, a bunny, and an animal of your choice. The second animal can be anything you want from a Saber Tooth Cat to a genetically modified creature. Lacey, Ozzy, and the rabbit are the most important.
Lacey= Caucasian, Brown hair (feel free to play with lengths and styles), purple eyes (experiment), freckles along her nose and cheek bones, Lab Coat, black pencil skirt, purple hightop sneakers, and a blue top. Also Steam Punk style goggles. You can have her wearing them on her face, or on her head, or sitting to the side. Medium build, kind of atheltic, with subtle curves. (If your styles doesn't have really distinguished body types, just draw her as you see fit)
Aiden= Caucasian Tall and toned. Not lanky, and not overly muscular. Green eyes. Red hair that is cut short, it can fall into his eyes a little but mostly it's neatly cut. Blue jeans, hiking boots, and a black t-shirt are fine. Also you can do a drawing of him "powered up." He has pyrokinetic abilities, and I give you creative license with the sample sketch.
Chelsea= Go nuts with this one. She just needs to be a twenty something girl in a lab coat. I have her personality more planned out than her appearance
Jace= Iron Man style power suit. Again go nuts.
Ozzy= He's a ferret with bat wings.
Alright. So you can PM me with samples. If you have any questions please ask them in the thread. In case someone else is curious. I hope the information was enough. I didn't want to give away too much of the plot or the character development.
