  • Anyone know a dentist in Baltimore?

My husband is currently in Baltimore, MD on business, and a crown on one of his molars came off.

EDIT: I realize you probably wanted a specific recommendation but that's the best I can come up with.

We actually found a site pretty similar to that that lists 24 hour dentists, but apparently they couldn't see him tonight for some reason. He got an appointment for tomorrow morning though. Also, it's not the whole crown that came off, just a chunk of it, which makes it a lot harder to fix. He's going to have to get a dentists back home here to make a new crown for him, once he gets home next week. But hopefully the dentist in Baltimore can do some temporary fix for him in the mean time.

I am not a dentist, but they do have temporary crowns. He'll probably have to have the remains of the damaged one removed and a temp one attached to protect the underlying tooth until his regular dentist can get a new permanent one in there.

This is why I got a gold crown rather than ceramic; they're much tougher. Yes, it does mean your dental work is visible, but hey, gold is pretty!
