I'm inspired by the fall foliage. I want to go red or burgandy. My natural color is medium golden brown. My skin undertone is yellow-peach & I am pale. I've used the yellow corrector foundation and it actually blends right into my skin. Silver jewelry looks terrible on me, gold looks good, and copper is meant-to-be. My eyes are true teal; does anyone remeber Crayola forest green? That color exactly. I'd love to go a bright copper red, but could I get away with it? I think burgandy may be too cool. Maybe an auburn? What do you think?

I'd go with a warm auburn. I go burgundy on a fairly regular basis, (looks purple, and I LOVE it), but even though my natural color is a golden ashy brown, I've got a cooler skin tone, pinkish undertones and pale, so the cooler colors work for me. I'd suggest hitting a store like Sally's or something that show samples of the colored hair and holding it against your face, to get an idea. Also, when searching for a color, make sure you check the box to see what the color would look like with your current color. Even if you get an auburn in one brand, it could contain more red than brown or vice versa, which is why it's always good to do a strand test first.

I'm with lupo on this one. A warm auburn is going to play up your coloring really fabulously. Although the brick red might be really cute!

If you can afford it, I'd go to a salon, and have a stylist go through the book with you. They usually seperate every color by if it's warm/cool/neutral.
My stylist just found a darker brown that actually is staying in my hair, despite its tendency to spit out any color darker than its natural hue of ashy light blonde.
She went through their whole book with me, and she picked a brown that has mostly yellow tones to it, so they'd grasp the blonde and stay longer. Sure, it's washing out and a month later, it's many shades lighter than before, but if I'd just gone for the first dark brown shade I saw, by now, it'd be completely gone. You really need to see a neurologist. - Wagegoth
