So my sister has recently gotten her Provisional Licence. Meaning that in South Australia, she can drive on her own or with friends, but she can only go 100km/h even if the sign says 110km/h, she can't have any alcohol or drugs in her system AT all and she can't blow the speed limit by 10km/h. She needs to hold this for 2 years total, but after 12 months if she hasn't gotten a ticket, she can sit a test and drive without P-Plates. (she's still subject to the same conditions though)
I am about 2 lessons away from getting my provisional licence. I have clocked up my 50 hour minimum already, but I am still logging in time.
My sister wound up going to a friend's house the other night. OK, sounds like a plan, always fun, I don't ahve to put up with her etc.
I asked my dad if I could drive down to the uni on saturday to get some extra work done. We're just about to leave when his phone rings. Turns out that my sister has managed to set a new record in the family for locking her keys in the car.
This is the THIRD time it's happened. All within 2 weeks of getting her licence.
So as a result, what should''ve been a 15-minute drive, turned into a 45-minute lesson of practice on things I need to know for my partial review on Friday (this coming Friday I am required to demonstrate the following-cabin drill, starting up and shutting off the engine, moving out from the kerb, moving into the kerb and securing the car, stop and go with the handbrake, gear changing, forward and reverse steering, hill start, simple U-turn, 3-point turn, 90 degree angle park and reverse parallel parking) all so my dad could deliver the spare key to my sister's car so she could unlock it.
Guess who's likely to beat said sibling on her final reviews?

Sorry I should've explained, that whole list came straight from my driving logbook.
