sometimes i have an insane urge to answer all the day's posts whether they interest me or not. Just to move them all on by one posts even if my post just said "yes".
Does anyone else?

Seshat's self-help guide:
1. Would you rather be right, or get the result you want?
2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.

Sometimes, but then i think the OP might be sad they didn't get any useful replies.
Exactly!!!
We actually have a policy here that posts have to contain content that adds to the discussion in a thread.
That's why we usually remove smiley and image only posts, and posts have to contain a certain number of characters.
It's a nice thought to want to respond, just so a thread gets a reply and the OP knows it's been read, though.
I always feel bad when threads by lesser known members fall through the cracks and don't seem to get any response.
There are just so many new posts each day that it's hard to keep up sometimes.
Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.
